Trying to chill out for a variety of reasons.

I finally had the mood.. to research on my future career path.

and i planned it out pretty well.

well. tentatively that is.

I hope i'll still be able to type it out perfectly while i'm fuming horribly over here.

April to August 2012, Work part time. any kinda job not involving computers.

August 2012 to about 3 years in the future? - Uni (or any degree i can get into)

Go apply for Allied Educators career. which according to some forums,
contract lasts a year; 14 weeks training included. i think.

Decide from then on if i enjoy teaching, apply for NIE
(which will bond me for at least 4-5years)
or pursue related work in degree/diploma/something totally irrelevant

Get a stable government job, and the rest goes smoothly from there.

What i do NOT want is to spend and waste my time changing jobs with no future goals in mind.

only recently have i realised that my life cannot function on without goals.

i would be just one hell of a aimless moron drifting in the wind.

and meanwhile, working towards my goal (to teaching?)
i shan't use any vulgarities in this post even though i am so tempted to. isn't self control just wonderful.

well. that's that for career planning for now.

what reaaaaaaaally fumed me up badly was.

I had a huge urge to do plenty of stuff and accomplish them by today.

then.

i had to install MS Office 2010 to make my slides editable.

Since my office PC uses 2010. and i did it all in my office pc.

sooo. i practically wasted all my time.

trying to get the ridiculous program into my pc.

i installed 2010 into my pc (which already had the 2007 version.)

bad move, incompatible. (as mentioned by my brother.)

then i uninstalled 2007, and 2010.

reinstalled 2010.

realised it still didn't work and the same error appeared.

spent so much time just fiddling around with the program and figuring out what went wrong.

googled and read guides. but guess what?
wordy guides are one HELLL of a thing not to read in the night
when you are already feeling like dropping dead in your tracks.

so whilst i was reinstalling/uninstalling, i had this huge urge to draw manga.

but in all the frustration i went mad and drew something totally out of my imagination.

which was like shit.

and knowing myself, after pitfalls like this i would have a mini phobia
as to when i'll pick up my pencils again.

i call that phobia imperfection-phobia.
well, if there's even such a phobia i'm seriously too sick and tired to research.

and i saw a dumb comment on facebook.

like really, even if its to poke fun, must you do that to consecutive profile pictures?

okay. that was a dumb thing to get angry over.

but imagine this.

i had INSPIRATION to draw.

and lost it.

so i decided to go back to see my profile pic (which was what gave me inspiration in the first place)

and i see that STUPID comment.

oh well.

back hurts like no tomorrow.

probably cause i punched myself over ten times.

in a bid to make myself feel another pain to forget the ache.

hey. sometimes it helps.

but heck. now i sound like some kinda masochist -.-

cause it freaking hurt when i sit in this slouched position for too long.

and my stupidly stiff position now is even more weird.

don't know what to say anymore.

i shall end my post here.

Finally watched Tangled.

another awesome movie, though one year too late.

Recent Disney movies with a twist makes it much more awesome.

they're both heartwarming and they tug at your heartstrings.

perhaps i just adore those happy fairy-tale endings.

guess that's exactly what makes me different from a whole lot of other people.

This video shows exactly the kind of feeling they gave to world though their artwork.

"The happiest place on earth feeling."

They grasped it so well that you don't even realize it until the end of the movie.
even the Tower was a place that was meant to attract people there, instead of that gloomy feeling about Rapunzel being stuck there for 18 years of her life.

this was one of the epic details i loved in the credits.

So... i've decided against taking chemical engineering in SIT.

keyword. 'try.' rarely happens when you're in a rage. but things gets simmered down after awhile then this would actually help. other than that you're just blowing your brains out. or judging that the other person's pov is nonsense, irrelevant and stupid.

if you think that you're the only one feeling affected due to complexities of everything...

then i guess you're wrong. i feel equally unnerved and unhappy about it.

so unnerved that i slept for a miserable 2-3 hours the night before an awesome trip to the other side of the world, and felt like, heck, if i jumped in front of one of those pretty huge 10-tonne flammable trucks i might actually be in a better state than the current one i was in.

up till now, i do feel a sense of guilt knowing that i have thrust that word so harshly into your face.

but i frankly don't really understand how it could make you feel so much pain.

how could that hurt you so much when it was hurting me so badly in the past when all i needed was someone to talk to and listen to the problems i had and how to deal with it?

Had a stupid nightmare last night again. I think. LOL.

So I've decided to pen it down somewhere before I forgot about it.

In my ridiculous nightmare I woke up in bed.
Then I walked around, and finally went to the door.
It was glued shut.
So I shouted but somehow I knew no one could hear me despite knowing there were people right outside, as I could hear them talking.
Somehow or the other the dream went as such that if I stayed in the sealed room too long, I would get killed by some beast.

So... The next thing I did startled myself as well. I took out my HP and smsed my dad for help.

a few years ago i was watching some random documentary on tv.

and laughing at how dumb china citizens squeezed into the tightly packed trains

to get home for chinese new year.

couldn't they just take the next train?

a few years later, i found myself squeezing into those tightly packed trains in Singapore.

without realizing how fast Singapore had turned into that horror i saw on tv.

guess i'm the dumb one now for not waiting for the next train.

but guess what? it's because no matter which train you choose, they're all equally packed.

makes no difference.

and now, they intend to raise transport fees once again.

big deal, they raise it by 1c, 2c etc.

it only really matters when you take those peanuts and multiply by the number of rides (least 2 per day) and the number of people who ride them each day.

and lets give them benefit of the doubt that only 3 million people take the train back and forth.

at a 1cent increase you get $60000.

at a 2cent increase you get $ 120000.

and that's just basing on their minor increases, not even the normal fare rates per person.

decided to blog about it before i forgot.

had this really, really weird dream 2 nights back.

this was the dream.

i was supposed to meet my friends for some project work in school.

but apparently i fell asleep on the train (?) and overshot my station.

and instead of alighting at YCK, i was somewhere else. lost.

like at dhoby area. but in my dream it wasn't called dhoby.

it was a complex junction of MRTs.

alright. i got up, alighted and walked around.

somehow or the other i knew something was wrong, and i started running.

and ended up seeing a hell lot of familiar faces,

whom informed me that there was some zombie attack.

and.

i don't know why, i had a knife.

but after all that HOTD-ing, i guess a gun was essential. LOL

so i started asking around the frontlines if any of them had a spare gun.

when i did, i ventured further in the so called 'safe house' to find people with spare bullets.

apparently i got them from this... schoolmate which wasn't one of my favorites.

and i panicked while inserting the magazine into the gun, with her and her clique staring at me.

i was inserting the dumb magazine via the bullet hole LOL wth.

and finally inserted it the right way, into the handle area.

so with my gun and my knife (?) i went around exploring the safehouse.

uhhh. LOL the safe house had a glass door, and i could see the 'dangerous outside' from there.

no zombies throughout my entire dream though, only saw zombie dogs.

everyone panicked since they were agile (LOL WTH)

but no casualties, everyone's teamwork shot the damned dogs to death. LOL.

time passed and we were prolly gonna stay there for a looonnng time.

and.

suddenly my dad in a huge tank-like truck came driving past the glass door.

so i informed him about the zombie outbreak (LOLOL)

and my dad said, he already knew.

my bro told him about the funny looking people that were probably zombies.

and i just sat around the safe house.

about how Jubeat should have turned into something like a footwork game.

instead of 16 buttons to press, the buttons would be turned into keys like those on a DDR.

(apparently this picture is off. DDR doesnt have diagonals.)

and for support, the Jubeat footwork machine should have...

so obviously i got stunned when she suggested that, and i started to have really, really wild imaginations.

considering how i see so many arcaders doing dance moves on both the normal DDR and pump it up machines.

Ate at Itacho sushi recently whilst walking around bugis last Sunday.

awesome taste, awesome prices.

the set meals were terrible.

all ala carte, or just didn't look filling enough.

so eventually i went for this meal, which seemed like the most appetizing to me. LOL

roe chawamushi, salad, chicken karage ( i think its spelt like that),

creamy soup and some sushi bowl.

i admit it, it tasted awesome...

but the price was the hardest thing in my meal to swallow.
28 bucks. ++ =_=
if you add in all that shit gst,
and the service charge (which was really obsolete)
you get one hell of a damn expensive meal.

i found this cool though. it thought me how to eat salmon sushi the right way.

i would just dip the rice part in soya (thinking its more absorbent)

Was being so pissed off at so much things since this morning, and i typed up an entire chunk to rant about it. But thinking about it again, i decided everything just wasn't worth it. It does have a remote. Tomorrow works for me, I work in Manayunk near the hospital and can bring the CD player to work with me. We can meet anywhere around there in the afternoon.

Just one minor thing though, and I truly am sorry about this, but I accidentally tripped over the CD player in the dark earlier and chipped the side of the plastic cover. There isn't a screen there and it does not affect the performance whatsoever, but I just thought I should let you know. I've included a picture of the small chip.

Steve, I'm really sorry, but I accidentally damaged it a little more. I really should have moved it out of the middle of the hallway, because I just tripped over it again. Unfortunately I was wearing steel-tipped boots and cracked the plastic cover around the screen. A few of the buttons got mashed in as well. You can still play songs 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9, though. Or just use the remote. It still plays CDs fine, and I've included a picture of it powered on so you can see that it still works.

Once again, I am terribly sorry about this. I am going to knock $10 off of the price for your inconvenience.

Hey, it's me again. I was loading the CD player into my trunk to bring to work tomorrow, but then my friend called me and I got distracted. Long story short, I forgot the CD player was behind my car and I accidentally backed over it a little bit when I went to go to Wawa. Thankfully I hit the brakes before I crushed anything important, but the back frame is a little bent.

I assure you that the CD player still works. On the bright side, the car must have popped that chipped plastic cover off of the front, so now you can clearly see the real screen. I think it looks better, don't you? From the front, staring at it head on, you can't even tell that the back is bashed in like that. Seeing as I improved the looks from the front, I am going to bump the price back up to $60.

I am going to try my best to bend the metal frame back to the way it was. Once again, I am very sorry about this.

Okay, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, the CD player still works. The bad news is that I was smoking a cigar while I was trying to repair it, and it accidentally set part of the CD player on fire.

As you can see from the picture, some of the CD player has melted. Thanks to my 2 months experience as a volunteer firefighter, my instincts kicked in and I was able to extinguish the flames with my coffee before too much of the CD player melted. It still can hold about 33-35 CDs, and all that stuff that melted on the right side wasn't important anyway.

Unfortunately, I drink expensive coffee and it was nearly full when I had to use it to put out the fire. Therefore, I am adding another $3 to the price of the CD player to bring the grand total to $63.

Once again, the CD player still works. I think it sounds even better than before. It is now in my trunk and ready to be sold to you tomorrow. I'll give you a call when I have my lunch break so we can meet up for the sale.

we all had to form groups of 5, and we would take turns interviewing each other.

so i requested if our class could all go outside whilst the 5 interviewers interviewed the single candidate.

the teacher agreed. but ironically she mistook whatever i said.

and ended up, whole class, stay in classroom.

5 people in the group, all 5 go out.

i should shut up next time.

after oh-ya-peh-ya-som-ing, i got the last out of my group.

meaning i was the last one to be interviewed.

lucky.... not.

so finally it was my turn.

(procedure was to let the interviewers intro themselves as CEO, director etc.)

i shall start with the Nutella incident.

i am a notorious lover of hazelnut.

so on Saturday, i decided to have a slice of white bread which i just bought.

along with my all-time favorite spread.

Nutella.

after finishing the slice,

i swear, i got too damn greedy.

i took an empty bowl, filled 3 whole tablespoons with Nutella,

(tablespoons, not dessert spoons.)

and consumed without any form of base.

something like eating ice cream out of the tub, or Milo out of the tin (w/o the water).

3/4 way through my 3 tablespoons of Nutella, i felt bloody strange.

but still, its Nutella. Heck! i got to finish it.

and so, i finished it.

and curse my damn itchy mouth.

i ate the biscuit stick kinda snack.

the one that requires you to dip into the chocolate to eat.

i finished it off. rather fast.

Sunday.

disaster stuck.

Sore throat came full throttle.
